Dr. Erica L. Mancini, OD
Dr. Mancini is originally from Steubenville, Ohio. She attended West Liberty State College, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2002, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She attended The Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus, receiving her doctorate in 2007. After graduation, Dr. Mancini completed a year residency in ocular disease at the Huntington VA Medical enter, in Huntington, WV. The residency had a special emphasis in diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration. She also had the opportunity to work with other specialties in a hospital setting, including: primary care, internal medicine, cardiology, and surgery. She is a member of the West Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In her spare time, Dr. Mancini enjoys working out and staying active, spending time with her family and six year old son, Nico, and watching WVU Football. When her schedule allows for some free time she loves to travel to new places and experience different customs. Dr. Mancini loves getting to know her patients and loves when the whole family comes in to see her! She treats her patients as if they were her own family and adds a sense of warmth to a standard doctor’s visit.
